500 self-service electric scooters in Toulouse

Toulouse city council agreed the principle of the arrival of electric self-service scooters on Friday.
The deputy mayor in charge of transportation, Jean-Michel Lattes, said the scooters would be deployed in the city with the exception of the hyper-centre. “We will be able to circulate there but not to park there, so as not to create problems for the pedestrians in particular” he specified.
The Deputy Mayor said that the number of self-service electric scooters will initially be limited to 100 vehicles, but the company Cityscoot, told France 3 they would deploy “500 scooters in Toulouse in the autumn of 2018”.
