José and Corrine run a lively little establishment which, although not a pretty building (not their fault, and only for this reason the depressed score for ambience) has a wonderfully friendly atmosphere to both newcomers and regulars alike. The menu varies only occasionally, but is beautifully cooked and presented and served up in generous quantities. Anyone travelling between the towns of Carcassonne and Mazamet should make the 100 metre detour off the main road to sample the delights of this most pleasant establishment.
