The Aude has been downgraded to orange alert, as intermittent rain is due on Wednesday.

The department has been on red alert since Monday morning at 6am, and as at late Tuesday afternoon, it is now on orange.

The Herault and the Pyrenees-Orientales remain on yellow alert.

Weather will improve everywhere in the region, and some areas will even see the sunshine come back.
