Another nail in the coffin for the wolves in the region

MidiLibre/Scoop, Jun 8

A reported wolf attack in South-Aveyron has added another argument to the supporters of killing wolves in the region. A farmer said that the brebis attack took place on Thursday morning near the town of Sainte-Eulalie.

One brebis was killed outright, and five others were seriously injured. They had to be put down.

Regis Roustan, from Gaec de la Baysse, in the town of Sainte-Eulalie-de-Cernon said that this was a second attack on his farm. In recent weeks, attacks are increasing on the Larzac. This is the twenty-seventh attack in South Aveyron since the beginning of the year.

Since January 2018, 61 brebis have been killed in Aveyron, as well as three cows and an alpaca.
