Bédarieux Intermarché employees fear the worst for their jobs

On the morning of Thursday 29 November, the employees of Intermarché Bédarieux, Hérault, distributed leaflets while the blockade by Gilets Jaunes continued. Employees fear the worst for their jobs and question the action of protesters.

North of Beziers, nearly 200 members of Gilets Jaunes continue to take turns in strategic places in order to block access to the supermarkets and petrol stations.

The employee leaflets warn that 140 jobs are at risk, Employees also ask the Gilets Jaune, “Why block deliveries exclusively from our store…we also have families to feed”.
