Body found at Saint-Julien-de-Peyrolas flood-site

The body of a man has been found in a stream near the campsite in Saint-Julien-de-Peyrolas. A German man disappeared after he had got the youngsters to safety during the floods.

Following the floods, two Germans were arrested and charged with causing injuries and endangering lives. The men, the President and Vice-President of German firm, Jugerdförderung Saint-Antonius, were allegedly running the campsite illegally.

The Nîmes public prosecutor said at the time of the arrests, that if the missing German man was found dead, then they may be facing manslaughter charges.

At the time of writing, the body has not yet been formally identified and has been taken away for an autopsy.
