The body of a 16 year old British rugby player, Harry Sykes, has been recovered from the Cavayere lake near Carcassonne.

Information has not been released about the circumstances, but emergency services were called out, and after a two hour search the body was found near the shoreline.

He had been training at the Halifax Elite Rugby Academy, and he and 40 of his teammates were in the Languedoc for a rugby tour.
