Bream migration is eagerly anticipated in Sète

France 3/Scoop, Oct 5

The migration of sea bream from the etang de Thau to the sea is eagerly watched by keen fishing folk in Sète.

The quaysides are full of fishing enthusiasts, hoping to catch some of the ‘dorade royale’ as the fish make their way into the open sea.

The weather has been perfect, although apparently the moon has not been in the optimum position to guarantee a bumper catch. No doubt the fish are grateful for small mercies.
