Bus catches fire in Thuir, PO

France 3/Scoop, Jan 11

This Wednesday, at around 1.15 pm, a bus caught fire for an unknown reason in a depot in Thuir (Pyrénées-Orientales).

The bus was empty, and the driver was returning from his shift. The driver is unharmed.

Nearby, a trailer also caught fire and the employees of a company had to be evacuated as a precaution.

The bus caught fire on arrival at the depot. The other buses were able to be moved away, but the heat of the fire caused the nearby trailer to catch fire.

Thirty firefighters of Thuir, Millas and Perpignan-west were involved. The fire was put out by 3:30pm.
