Béziers beats heat records

While 67 departments in France were placed on vigilance for heatwaves, Béziers in Hérault was the hottest since 1982. On Saturday the temperature was recorded as 41.3 degrees at the Domaine de la Courtade in Béziers. The hottest temperature of 42 degrees was recorded in 1982.
Temperatures are due to drop a few degrees from Tuesday, and during the week we can expect some storms and heavy downpours throughout Occitanie, particularly on Wednesday night / Thursday morning.
