Camper van gets completely stuck in Longogne!

MidiLibre/Scoop, May 24

On the rue de Villeneuve in Langogne, Lozère, a camper van got completely stuck. Despite two signs saying camper vans are not allowed on the street, the driver decided to listen to the GPS voice rather than heed the no entry signs.

It took more than two hours of manoeuvring with various helpers to get the vehicle out. There wasn’t too much damage to the camper van, but the damage to the driver’s ego was probably the worst thing.

Red-faced, the tourists left the medieval town to the sounds of laughter from the inhabitants and the mayor, who had come to ‘help’.
