Cap d’Agde port restaurant fire

On Monday morning, a restaurant in Cap d’Agde caught on fire. The area was quickly evacuated.

The fire started in the restaurant and spread very quickly on the ground floor of the three-story building.

Firefighters came from Agde, Florensac, Bessan, Mèze and Béziers.

The billowing smoke and the flames fanned by the winds can be seen in this dramatic video.
