The partnership was signed in Perpignan on Friday.

Limited to 25 km on both sides of the border, this collaboration could be extended to other relief interventions such as floods or road accidents.

The code name is Cooperem.

Cooperem aims to implement a shared policy on emergency prevention and fire management in order to reduce the impact of risk, both in terms of human and economic losses and material and environmental damage.
