Choupy the poodle saved from certain death

MidiLibre/Scoop, Nov 2

Choupy the little poodle, was found in a bin in Montpellier.

The dog was taken to the Montpellier SPA, who gave her intensive treatment for several days. The small poodle was brought to the pound in a pitiful state. Ten years old, she was extremely thin, covered with fleas, ticks and had skin lesions, her teeth were in very bad condition, she had severe anemia with a high blood pressure, and very high white blood cells. Her chances of survival were very small.

The miracle vets saved her life, and now she is in recovery.

Several people have already applied for adoption, so she is guaranteed a home, but the SPA are asking for some financial help. They have also lodged a formal complaint to the police, to help track down the previous owners.

If you want to help, the SPA have launched an on-line appeal to raise the funds to cover her care and for the veterinary services. Click here for their facebook page.
