Dolphin rescued at Vias-Plage

France 3/Scoop, May 30

In the Hérault, the Agde SNSM came to the rescue of a dolphin stranded in Vias-Plage, and one of the rescue team took a video. It’s creating a buzz on social media.

Swimmers got the dolphin onto a stretcher, and then the team collected the dolphin on a small boat, and carried it offshore to put it back into the open sea.

The organisation added that this type of rescue requires specialised knowledge and precautions, and should not be attempted by amateurs.
