EasyJet to sue over French air strikes

LanguedocLiving, Jul 18

Easyjet are planning to sue over the French airstrikes this year. It has cost the airline £25 million, and over 2,600 flights had to be cancelled this year due to the strikes.

Chief executive Johan Lundgren (pictured) said that EU law was being breached by failing to protect flights over France. “A failure to take action was breaching citizens’ freedom of movement.”

Ryanair and IAG have also jointly complained to the EU Commission.
