Edouard Philippe trained in the Aude ... in 1995

France 3/Scoop, May 19

The new Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe, made his political start in Carcassonne and Leucate in 1995. When he was a student at the ENA, the young official trained at the Aude Prefecture. Those who met him then, still remember him.

He is not currently very well known in the country, but the new Prime Minister seems to have impressed those who crossed his path in Carcassonne, Narbonne and Leucate.

In 1995, when he joined the Ecole Nationale d'Administration, Edouard Philippe stayed for a few months at the Aude prefecture. He quickly found his place alongside the young Mayor RPR of Leucate, Michel Py.

The mayor of Leucate as well as the former prefect have both told France 3 that Edouard Philippe had all the qualities of a good politician when they knew him in 1995.
