End of the bus strike in Nîmes after three days of mobilisation

France 3/Scoop, Nov 15

The employees of STDG, a subcontracting company for Nîmes transport, resumed work this Thursday morning.

The bus drivers have been on strike since Monday. Nîmes Métropole entered into a deal to swap out STDG with Transdev to run the public service. Drivers were anxious that their salary conditions would change.

After a meeting between the unions and management, the employees obtained written guarantees of the retention of wages.
