Festivities get out of hand in Bram

A fight erupted on Saturday night during festivities in Bram, Aude. A man died after being punched in the jaw.

The fight took place around 3am, the police announced. At a party where drinks had been flowing all day, a fight broke out between two individuals. One of them punched a 54 year old man, who dropped to the ground.

Rescue services were called, but despite the efforts of firefighters, the man who was in cardiovascular arrest, could not be revived. An investigation is underway entrusted to the Castelnaudary police.
