Fire in Toulouse high-rise, no injuries

LanguedocLiving, Jun 25

A fire took hold on the roof of a building in Reynerie in the Mirail district in Toulouse on Monday.

Renovations were being carried out on the roof, and hot tar used to seal the roof created a fire.

Firefighters reacted very quickly, and the fire was extinguished before residents needed to be evacuated.

The plume of smoke was visible from several kilometres away because of the height of the building.

There were no injuries reported.
