Four French victims were all from Occitanie

LanguedocLiving, Aug 15

All four French victims from the Italy bridge collapse disaster were from Occitanie, according to Midi Libre on Wednesday.

Melissa Artus and her companion Nathan Gusman, 22 and 20 years old, lived in Toulouse.

Axelle Place, also 20 years old, accompanied them. She was from Lautrec, in the Tarn. A fourth young man, William Pouzadoux, 22 years old, was also in the car, and had joined them in Nîmes. They were on their way to a festival in Sicily.

The four bodies were found in the rubble in the car registered in France.

The mayor of Toulouse Jean-Luc Moudenc said: “Support to all the victims of this terrible disaster that took the lives of four young people from our region. Thoughts to their bereaved families.”
