French pompiers: smoking hot?

LanguedocLiving, Dec 11

French pompiers (firefighters) have caught everyone’s attention.

Thanks to the work of photographer Fred Goudon, they are raising money for the charity Fight Aids Monaco.

Take a look at the pictures, and you can see why the calendar is getting a lot of attention.

The calendar features everything from a totally nude firefighter in the shower, to topless lads out the front of the station, gazing steely-eyed into the distance.

It helps of course that the pompiers are all ridiculously good looking and have sculpted bodies like Brad Pitt from his Fight Club days.

Goudron says "For me and for many others, firefighters are heroes. Every single day, these guys are out there saving people's lives. And they're all so nice, so strong... and you can see it in the pictures that there is a kind of pride in them that others don't have."

Personally speaking, I know a lot of pompiers, as they regularly come and clear the snow from our steep drive in the depths of winter, and I’m wondering where all these buff pompiers in the photos came from.

Note to self, take a better look at the pompiers when they come round at Christmas for their collection. Needless to say, whether they are Brad Pitt look-alikes or hairy-arsed country bumpkins, they always get a generous gift from us at Christmas, because they do such an important job.

Now…where can I buy that calendar…?
