Ghost train ride destroyed at Cap d'Agde

MidiLibre/Scoop, Aug 19

The ghost train at Cap d’Agde was almost destroyed by fire this weekend.

This Saturday morning, around 5.50am, Agde firefighters intervened at Luna Park, Cap d’Agde. They extinguished a fire that almost destroyed the ghost train ride.

Luckily, the 20 firefighters managed to contain the disaster and avoid the fire spreading to other attractions in the park.

The amusement park opened again on Saturday evening, but there is a police investigation in progress. Firefighters had already been to the park on Thursday to extinguish a small fire on the same attraction.

No injuries were reported, and there are no known witnesses at the time the fire started.
