Grand Theft Auto teenager goes berserk at home

MidiLibre/Scoop, Nov 9

A 13 year old boy from Perpignan tried to strangle his mother when she confiscated his PS4.

The school boy was addicted to his PS4, and spent most of his time on it. On Tuesday a row broke out between the mother and her son, and the son was banned from using the video game console.

Furious, the boy threw his mother to the ground, and tried to suffocate her with his arm against her throat. Neighbours heard the noise, and alerted the police. The victim was found lying on the ground by the neighbour, with a large bruise on her face and neck.

The boy was arrested and placed in custody. He apparently regrets his actions, but that won’t stop him having to appear before the children’s judge in February, where he may be indicted.
