Group of youngsters force victim to withdraw money

Five young people were arrested on Friday night in Montpellier. It was the CCTV cameras that identified them threatening another young man with a knife to steal his wallet and force him to withdraw money.
The youngsters, aged between 17 and 21, were arrested at 3am in Montpellier. The incident happened behind the Saint-Roch station, between the streets of Lattes and Barcelona bridges.
They used a knife to force an 18-year-old to drop his bag, which contained cash and his credit card.
The card caught the attention of the group, and they forced the victim to withdraw €80 euros at the nearest ATM.
Police found the knife, the stolen bag and other goods.
Two of the five youngsters will appear in court today, for theft with violence, and for insulting the police.
