Hashtag rat alert

MidiLibre/Scoop, Oct 25

A young woman near Montpellier ordered an armchair from La Redoute, and opted for a delivery at home.

Her parcel was two weeks late, and when she opened it, along with the chair that she ordered, she found three dying baby rats and a cigarette end in the packaging.

Surprised, she called La Redoute for them to come and take it away, and they refused to pick it up immediately, offering her a date in a week’s time.

The after-sales service was appalling, and so scandalised was the woman, that she took to Twitter with the hashtag #SignalerUnRat.

No doubt after articles in the press, the after sales service may be a little more responsive.
