Man who smuggled 311kg of cannibis is jailed

A man who was found smuggling cannibis to Aveyron has been sentenced to four years in jail.

The haul was worth around a million euros, and was found by police near the Millau viaduct.

He has been sentenced to four years in a closed prison, and will be forced to pay a €30,000 fine.
