Minervois communes relieved they can finally claim

MidiLibre/Scoop, May 3

Four Minervois communes will be happy that they have just been recognised in a state of natural disaster following ground movements in February 2017. They are located around or in the Regional Park of Haut-Languedoc, on the edge of the Tarn.

The decree, published in the official journal of May 2, 2018, recognised the state of natural disaster for Courniou, Prémian, Verreries-de-Moussan, and La Salvetat-sur-Agout.

Insured parties have a maximum of 10 days from 2 May to send an estimate of the losses to their insurance, if they have not already done so.

The insurer has 3 months to make the compensation, with a provision paid within 1 to 2 months.
