Météo France - “a stormy week ahead”

Thunderclaps, lightning, copious rain, hail and gusts of wind. That’s the forecast for this week until next weekend and beyond. The only unknown is precisely when, and precisely where.

After a stormy Monday, the storms will develop on the northern half of Occitanie. Elsewhere we may be limited to a few showers and thunderclaps. On Wednesday it will be very changeable, but apparently less chance of thunderstorms.

The storms regain their strength on Thursday, especially around the Mediterranean.

And for the weekend?  Much the same. The storm threat is still in place, so enjoy every bit of the sunshine that you might see, because one thing is for sure, the weather is very unstable at the moment.
