New Charleroi Béziers airport route

A press event at Béziers Cap d’Agde airport was held on Wednesday to announce a new Ryanair connection between Charleroi Brussels South and Béziers Cap d’Agde.

The President of the airport’s Syndicat Mixte, Gilles d’Ettore and the spokesperson from Charleroi Brussels South Airport, Vincent Grassa presented the details.

Flights will run three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays as of April 2.

Gilles d’Ettore said: “This new route is synonymous with tourism, economic spin-offs and job creation…It complements our range of destinations from Northern Europe and we are certain that it will be a great success considering the existing potential ".

Vincent Grassa said: “Finally Brussels South Charleroi Airport is connected with Béziers Cap d’Agde. It’s a long awaited expectation, and we are delighted.”

Arrivals of Belgian nationals in the Hérault are estimated at more than 250,000 per year - 2,150 people have second homes, and 523,200 overnight stays (54,650 hotels, 46,8550 campsites).

The Béziers Cap d'Agde airport now offers 9 destinations in partnership with Ryanair: London Luton, London Stansted, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, Stockholm, Düsseldorf Weeze, Paris Beauvais and Brussels Charleroi.
