No tolerance for driver doing double the speed

LanguedocLiving, May 15

A driver was caught doing 205 km/h on the A750, instead of 110 km/h.

The motorist was intercepted by Clermont-l’Hérault police in Montarnaud, and he was pulled over.

On inspection, the driver was found to have a probationary licence, so his speed limit should have been 110 km/h on the motorway. In addition, he was found to have alcohol in his blood.

The police immediately withdrew his driver’s licence, and he will be answering to the criminal court of Montpellier very soon.
