Protesters in Montpellier greet Macron

 A hundred protesters gathered at the place de la Comédie in Montpellier on Wednesday, as Macron arrived in the city.

The President of the Republic was in Montpellier this Wednesday afternoon to deliver a speech on the social policy in fornt of the Congrès de la Mutualité Française.

Railway workers, students, and hospital staff gathered to protest about his social policy.

Macron delivered a speech lasting over an hour where he outlined the framework of his social reforms. Macron talked about free glasses, along with dental prostheses and hearing aids - which will be reimbursed from 2021, and he promised a new national debate about care of the elderly.
