Pézenas spiderman climes Heron Tower in London
Robert Alain, known as the French Spiderman has just climbed the Heron Tower, one of the highest buildings in London.
He climbed the 662 ft tower with no safety gear or rope, and just his bare hands with chalk and wafer-thin gloves.
Before he climbed, the Pézenas-based spiderman said ‘I fully feel alive when my life is at stake. It may sound a bit scary and crazy but this is the way it is.’
The climb took around 40 minutes, and police cordoned off the gathering crowds beneath him. His manager, Bryan Yeubrey, said: "Alain is an adventurer. He wants to climb buildings. He is incredible. He is good at it and has been doing it for many years.”
Alain handed over his passport when he was arrested at the top of the building. His manager said “I hope they will be soft on him, he’s a good guy”.
Don’t try this at home folks.
