Railway workers launch toll free operation in Sète

France 3/Scoop, Apr 9

Somehow, the striking rail workers negotiated to be able to run a free toll at the Sète and the Saint-Jean-de-Védas motorway toll stations in Hérault on Monday morning, starting at 9am.

Motorists could take advantage of the free tolls, and were handed leaflets and a newsletter at the interchanges.

Their activity caused a traffic jam, but according to witnesses, the traffic jams were over by 10am.
