Rouergue bowling alley destroyed by fire
A fire broke out at around 3am on Monday morning and ignited the Rouergue bowling alley in Onet-le-Château, Aveyron.
At 8am, firefighters started removing the roof of the Rouergue Bowling, after the fire had ravaged the building. The hotel next to it had been evacuated, but the fire didn’t spread to the hotel.
The cause of the disaster has not yet been established. The bowling alley has had a chequered past. In 2016 the bowling alley was machine-gunned, and in June 2018, a homemade bomb was found in the car park close to the bowling alley.
