Salmonella in Mounier Pélardon goat’s cheese

The Mounier cheese dairy has recalled batches of goat’s cheese which is potentially contaminated with salmonella. The cheese is called Pélardon. The contaminated batches have been on sale since July 21, and the eat-by date is July 29. If you’re holding on to any of this cheese, please don’t eat it, because of a suspicion of contamination with salmonella.

The number on the packets of cheese is FR 48.122.011 EC.

People who have consumed the cheese concerned and have any symptoms are invited to consult their doctor, while the company is available to consumers to answer their questions at 04 66 48 58 78.
