Skeleton found in the Gard, confession in Paris
Last week, a former resident of Manduel, a village near Nîmes, confessed to the murder of a young woman in 2014.
It all started with a man who went to a police station in the 10th arrondissement in Paris, on August 10 at around 4 am. The man confessed to a murder, admitting that “a few years ago he killed a woman, and he gave us precise indications as to the place where he buried the body,” said a source close to the case.
The 30 year old was placed in custody immediately, and questioned further.
The man displayed many signs of psychiatric disorders, and after questioning he was taken to a psychiatric hospital.
The police managed to establish the identity of the former Yugoslavian woman, who was never reported missing.
Police combed the area near Nimes, and found the skeleton of a small woman in a three metre hole.
Tests are being carried out to establish whether or not the skeleton is of the former Yugoslavian woman who the man claims to have killed.
