Snow down to 300 metres altitude

Cold, snow, and rain is arriving on Tuesday in Hérault, Gard, Pyrénées-Orientales, Aude and Lozère.

The day will begin with bright spells, but clouds will appear in the afternoon according to the Météo Languedoc website. The first rains are expected in Aude, Pyrénées-Orientales, Lozère then they will shift onto Hérault from the west and move east towards Gard in the evening and night.

In Hérault, Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales, there will be rain on the plains and coastlines, but there is likely to be a lot of snow on the reliefs, and as far down as 300 metres altitude. The northeast of Gard is likely to see some snow too.

Take care on the roads, because of the risk of black ice.
