Tarn Prefect injured in Albi by Gilets Jaunes protesters

MidiLibre/Scoop, Dec 2

Tarn Prefect, Jean-Michel Mougard, was injured at the weekend, when he came out of the Prefecture to see Gilets Jaunes protesters for himself.

He was in the gardens when a glass bottle was thrown by one of the protesters. It shattered in front of him, and he was wounded in the hand by flying glass.

Taken to hospital for stitches, he returned to office several hours later.

Two other people were slightly injured during the demonstration in Albi.
