Teenagers find over €4,000 and hand it in

LanguedocLiving, Jul 15

A group of seven teenagers were travelling on a train north west of Paris, when they discovered €4,000 in banknotes under a train seat. The haul was in €10, €20 and €50 notes, and there was a withdrawal receipt in the bag.

Instead of pocketing it, they went to a local police station and handed it in.

The police chief commended the teenaged for their “civic awareness.”
