Terrifying fall into a well

In Saint-Sulpice, Tarn, a woman fell into a well which was five metres deep.

Firefighters were called out immediately from Saint-Sulpice and Albi.

The rescue team arrived quickly, and one of the firefighters went into the well with a harness. The victim was pulled up safely, and then transported to hospital.

There was water at the bottom of the well, and a spokesperson from the rescue team said that she was lucky to have survived.
