The gilets jaunes are not giving up

France 3/Scoop, Dec 23

There was renewed vandalism on Saturday night / Sunday morning on the motorway at Narbonne, Sigean and Lézignan.

Not for the first tune, several tolls and interchanges were vandalised on the A9, particularly at the tolls of Narbonne East (37) and Sigean (39).

Vinci Autoroutes said “Despite the extensive damage and thanks to the rapid intervention of police and firefighters, the interchanges were able to reopen quickly, but the Lézignan interchange (25) on the A61 was set on fire. As a result, the exit is impossible in both directions. "

Vinci Autoroutes also states that, on the A9, the interchanges of Narbonne Sud (No. 38) and Agde (No. 34) “remain closed at the entrance and exit following the significant damage and acts of vandalism suffered during the demonstrations".
