Three fishermen rescued by firemen

France 3/Scoop, Oct 29

Three avid fishermen got into trouble on Monday, when they had a boating accident on the Dordogne river in Lanzac., Lot

Their boat hit some rocks near the A20 bridge, and the fishermen were forced to take refuge on some rocks while they waited for help to arrive.

When the firefighters from Souillac arrived to take them to shore, the fishermen were suffering from hypothermia.

Police in the region have urged fishing enthusiasts to respect the weather, and not put themselves and rescue teams at risk.
