Truck driver 40km/h over the limit in Poussan

A truck driver was hit with a fine of €3,300 this week by Hérault police, when they stopped him for a check on Tuesday evening near Poussan on the A9.

The truck driver was found to have been speeding three times on the A9 towards Spain, the most severe speed infraction was 132km/h instead of 90km/h. The driver was also fined for driving over his allocated time limit nine times.

Another Spanish truck driver was stopped that same evening and in the same area by the police, and he was forced to pay an instant fine of €750 before the police let him back on the roads. His offence was looking at a screen while driving.
