Turtle found on Frontignan beach

LanguedocLiving, Sep 7

A dead leatherback turtle was washed ashore on Aresquiers beach, Frontignan.

An expert arrived to examine the turtle, and it was announced that the large turtle had probably been hit by a boat. The animal had several wounds, and was most likely dead before it arrived on the beach.

The turtle was 1.5 metres long, and it was removed from the beach by a town hall employee.
