Vandalised school in the Paillade district of Montpellier
Four minors aged 15 and 16 were arrested this week in Montpellier. They were part of a group of eight young people who had just vandalised the Simon Bolivar school, located in the Paillade district.
Warned by a local resident that the school was being vandalised, the police arrived very quickly and arrested four individuals, aged 15 and 16. Four others manage to escape.
Inside the Bolivar school, there is a lot of damage, almost all parts of the school have been ransacked. The walls of some class rooms have been painted black, and the toilets are completely blocked.
Pending the completion of the investigation, the minors were handed back to their parents.
