Vinci Autoroutes lodges complaint against farmers

LanguedocLiving, Feb 8

The damage caused by farmers as part of their action against the reclassification of land could amount to millions of euros.

For the last 10 days they have blocked roads in the Tarn-et-Garonne, the Haute-Garonne, and the Tarn in particular.

Vinci Autoroutes have lodged an official complaint for damage to roads in the region, especially the A61, A62, A64, A66 and A68 and part of the Toulouse bypass.

The demonstrations have resulted in safety barriers broken, roads burned by tons of tyres, rubbish of all kinds, signs ripped off, trees dumped on roads - all in all, it’s going to be a hefty bill to repair it all.
