Weekend and bank holiday weather

The only thing the weather forecasters agree on at the moment, is that the weekend and bank holiday weather is going to be very unstable.

Some forecasters are telling us to expect storms on Saturday, and even vicious hail storms could be possible. Others are saying heavy rainfall for Saturday, particularly in the east, and others are saying it won’t be blue skies, but it will be nice and warm, rising to 22 degrees.

In addition, Météo France has placed the departments of Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales on yellow alert for strong winds.

So, take your pick - warm days, hail, thunderstorms, wind, heavy rain. Maybe it will be all five, so have hat, teeshirt, umbrella, salads and snow shovel at the ready.
