Wild boar wanders through Nîmes city centre

LanguedocLiving, Sep 21

A wild boar was spotted in Nîmes on Friday in the quartier de la Révolution. Passersby were wary, and the police were called.

Not knowing whether it was injured, and therefore dangerous, the police took the decision to shoot the animal, which at the time was on private property.

In March this year, another boar was spotted in Nîmes city centre, wandering up Avenue Jean-Jaurès.
