The famous Cracker Fair is back!

This weekend it is 4 weeks until the famous Cracker Fair opens its doors again.

It will be the thirteenth edition of the fair, and for the third year running it will be held at the beautiful Abbaye de Valmagne, 34560 Villeveyrac on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November.

It’s the biggest and best Christmas market in the region, so come along and enjoy the atmosphere, with over 200 stands.  We pride ourselves on the quality of exhibitors.  Local artisans, producers, artists, creators are all there, so it’s the best place to do all your Christmas shopping.

There are two choirs coming.  On Saturday at 2pm, there will be Christmas carols sung in various parts of the Abbaye de Valmagne, so don’t miss that special atmosphere!  On Sunday at 2pm we have a great gospel choir for the first time.

Various animations will take place during the weekend, and there will be a Papa Noël in the cloisters, together with a professional photographer.

For food this year, we have lots of new choices, and some old favourites.  Ken and Alison will be in the Réfectoire, and outside we have Xavier from the l’Escampette restaurant with his double-decker bus.  We have a new fish and chip food truck from Narbonne, which is a renovated boat, and great fun.  The restaurant at the Abbaye de Valmagne will be open all weekend, but make sure you book in advance.  There’s a lot more too, we will be featuring more details about all the food and goodies which will be available over the coming weeks.

If you want to come in a group and avoid the queues, you can buy tickets in advance and come in through the VIP entrance.  Minimum 10 people in a group please.  If you’re coming as a larger group in a bus, get in touch with us and we can organise parking for you.

Watch this space over the next few weeks, and find out more about all the exhibitors who are coming!
